Tweens Who STREAM – Build a Water Filter

Join OFPL at the Children & Youth Library on August 8th and 22nd at 4:00 PM for interactive STREAM workshops. STREAM workshops explore topics in Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, and Making.

In this hands-on activity, students investigate different methods—aeration and filtering—for removing pollutants from water. Working in teams, they design, build and test their own water filters.

The city of Gallup invites you to celebrate the centennial of Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial through images and objects, an exhibition curated by the Octavia Fellin Public Library at the Rex Museum located on the corner of Historic Highway 66 and 3rd Street.
