Making Moves: Celebrating Black & Native Women and Girls in Skateboarding

Celebrate Women’s History Month with NMAAHC and the National Museum of the American Indian! Explore the innovative roles of Black and Native women and girls in the world of skateboarding. Then, design skateboard art to express your unique identity. 

This program is part of the Smithsonian’s American Women’s History Initiative early childhood program series, Her Story: How Women and Girls Transformed the World! 


More information: This program will take place via Zoom webinar and be led by early childhood educators from NMAAHC and NMAI. Registered guests will receive an email with Zoom information, a list of supplies needed and recommended resources on the Monday before the program.

Navajo Astronomy

Emergency Rental Assistance Program

Are you struggling to pay your rent, utilities, or facing eviction?

The Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) makes funding available to assist households that are unable to pay rent or utilities. Join New Mexico Legal Aid at Octavia Fellin Public Library every Thursday from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM for assistance completing the ERAP application.
