Neo-Graffiti Art

Neo-graffiti or street art is a staple in any community that has evolved from a defiant graffiti art into a more commercial art meant to provoke thought. 

Join OFPL in-person on Friday, January 28th at 4:00 PM at the Children’s Branch to learn the fundamentals of creating stencils and the skills needed to make sidewalk graffiti.

All Paints Day with ‘Rezmo’

Join OFPL and dual-heritage graffiti artist ‘Rezmo’ on Facebook, @galluplibrary, or YouTube at Octavia Fellin Public Library Friday, November 19th at 4:00 PM. Learn the step-by-step process used by Rezmo to blend acrylic paints for the cultural iconography she is known for.

Art Demo: Adventures of Rezmo in Dinéland & Further

Join us LIVE on Facebook, @galluplibrary on Thursday, May 13th at 4:00 p.m. for an art demonstration featuring Tasha Martinez.

Tasha’s artist name is Rezmo who works as a graffiti artist in Arizona. She incorporates her heritage as both Diné and Mexican into her graffiti work. Rezmo has worked on several art projects in her local community and created fundraising merchandise to help the Navajo Nation during the pandemic.

Watch Rezmo create art and talk about the challenges of being a contemporary graffiti artist.
