Spill the Tea Fes-tea-val

Join us for an interactive workshop to celebrate National Tea Day Wednesday, April 21st at 1:00 p.m. on Facebook @galluplibrary or YouTube at Octavia Fellin Public Library.

We will spill the tea and learn tea facts, history, and health benefits of this flavorful experience. Create some authentic matcha green tea, Jasmine tea, and a DIY Stress Relief Tea and learn about tasseography, a pseudoscience art of reading tea leaves to predict the future.

Supply kits are available at OFPL on a first-come, first-serve basis using the Supply Request Form.

Create your own art using materials found around your home! Courses are geared towards individuals approximately 15-years of age and older. Supply kits are available at OFPL on a first-come, first-serve basis using the Supply Request Form. Videos are posted weekly on Mondays at 4:00 p.m.

Tune in on Monday, March 22nd at 4:00 p.m. to learn how to create a high-contrast black and white image using an engraving technique on a scratch board.

We’re doing family-friendly science experiments that glow in the dark, light up and change color!
