Join OFPL at the Children & Youth Library every other Monday at 4:00 PM for interactive STREAM workshops. STREAM workshops explore topics in Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, and Making. October’s theme is Kitchen Chemistry: delicious, edible STREAM activities that will help you learn about the properties of matter.

Courses are geared towards individuals approximately 15-years and older. Supply kits are available at OFPL on a first-come, first-serve basis using the Supply Request Form.

These sayings or wise words of wisdom in Spanish are called Dichos. Learn about these insightful Spanish words of wisdom and their significance in Mexican culture.  Join this interactive program and create your own digital Dichos to share.

Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP)

Are you struggling to pay your rent, utilities, or facing eviction? The Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) makes funding available to assist households that are unable to pay rent or utilities.

Join us at Octavia Fellin Public Library every Thursday in September from 9:00 AM – 12 :00 PM  and 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM for assistance completing the ERAP application. New Mexico Legal Aid and Somos Gallup will be onsite in the meeting room to provide access to assistance in keeping safe, stable, and affordable housing.

Sugar Skull Decorating Party

Celebrate Diá de Los Muertos at the Main Library on Tuesday, October 22nd at 6:00 p.m. with OFPL and the Miyamura High School Spanish Club. Decorate a sugar skull to take home and one to share on the community altar. Supplies will be provided.
